The large-scale operation and maintenance equipment of railway lines is developing towards hybrid power and full-electric driving. The special electro-hydrostatic actuator is developed based on the hybrid transmission idea of power by wire and power by hydraulics. The micro-pump and flow matching valve of key components were developed based on the special electro-hydrostatic actuator for large-scale operation and maintenance equipment of the railway line, and the virtual prototype modeling and simulation were carried out to verify the stability of the special electro-hydrostatic actuator system and the effectiveness of the key technologies. The prototype of electro-hydrostatic actuator was trial-manufactured and a four-quadrant working condition simulation test platform was developed. The functional integrity and theoretical correctness of the special electro-hydrostatic actuator were verified through the prototype test. It lays a foundation for the subsequent control of electro-hydrostatic actuators in the application scenarios of large-scale railway line operation and maintenance equipment, and provides a reliable scheme for the upgrading and development of large-scale railway line operation and maintenance equipment.
