Behavior of lane changing often occurs in process of vehicle aggregating, evanescing, overtaking, blocking, etc. Contrast to the other driving behaviors, lane changing will produce conflict points and increase probability of collision which impacts on traffic safety seriously. Mandatory Lane Changing (MLC) behavior is happened when drivers have an intent of mandatory lane changing and the adjacent lane can't provide the feasibility continually. This course of producing demand can be described with the Logit theory. MLC model which is on the basis of the utility is set up by introducing Logit theory, and also it is calibrated by surveying data and the close-range photogrammetry principle. Finally, its validity is verified with by software which is written on the basis of Open GL under the environment of VC.net. Simulating result shows that the model in this text is rational.
