This paper focuses on the influence of dual-frequency excitation on the bending–torsional coupling vibration response in aeroengine dual-rotor systems. An aeroengine dual-rotor system supported by five points is modeled by the lumped mass method and analyzed by the Newmark- β method. The results demonstrate that the characteristic frequencies of bending–torsional coupling vibration are the combined frequency of the high-pressure (HP) and low-pressure (LP) rotor. The response mechanism of the bending–torsional coupling vibration under the coupling action is explained by reconstructing excitation signals at different rotational speed ratios of the HP and LP. The bending–torsional coupling experiments of the dual-rotor system under the conditions of the fixed and variable speed ratios are carried out by using the dual-rotor test rig. The characteristic frequencies of the bending–torsional coupling are verified, which provides a theoretical basis for the determination of the bending–torsional coupling vibration of the dual-rotor system.
