Dislocations span over distances that are much larger than the interatomic distance . Therefore, an asymptotic expansion of dislocation energy as is of interest. In this paper, such asymptotic expansion is constructed. It has a simple form of , where and are the functionals of the dislocation line (which do not depend on ) and is the dislocation length. Analytical formulas for and are obtained.
