In automobile sector, due to increase in the demand and price of fuel of IC engines, the investments turned toward the green technologies the electric vehicle. To reduce the pollution, the government also promotes the electric vehicle usage by giving lots of subsidies. The major criteria that affect the usage of electric vehicle are the charging time and the charging station availability. Lots of research is undergoing to reduce the charging time and to increase the range of electric vehicle. The charging technology is one of the other blooming technologies to promote the electric vehicle utilization. Among different charging methods, the wireless charging plays an important role in development of electric vehicle to popularize the EV. This chapter discusses about the different wireless charging topologies; from that, the recent technology of inductive charging with compensation network is discussed, SS and PS topologies are simulated, and the results are compared.
