This chapter covers two imaging sensors employed by Chang'E Satellite of China, one is the ultraviolet lunar sensor (UVLS) which is the first lunar imaging attitude sensor of the word. The UVLS is a wide‐FOV optical sensor which works in the orbit around the Moon and provides the Guide‐Navigation‐Control subsystem with pitch and roll information. It characters the optical design and the imaging processing algorithm, the ellipse Fitting algorithm and the attitude acquisition are described in detail, which are testified by orbit data of the CE 1 satellite. The other optical sensor is hazard cameras of Chinese lunar rover, the fish‐eye lens (120°×120°) makes the calibration become the key technology, and so a novel calibration method is developed and presented.
