Considering the tough characteristics of the lunar environment and the long-distance between the moon and the earth, it is important to perform an experiment on the ground to validate the mobility and rideability of the lunar rover. This paper presents an environment simulation system of lunar rover experiment based on deeply analysis on lunar environment and existing simulation technology. The environment simulation system of lunar rover experiment could be used in series important experiments of lunar rover. It could simulate vacuum, high and low temperature range, and ultra-violet radiation environment of the moon and it could also manufacture the simulated lunar dust applied to engineering test. This system consists of four parts: the vacuum chamber subsystem, turntable subsystem, simulated lunar dust manufacture subsystem and test subsystem. The actual lunar rover driving conditions could be verified by this environment simulation system. The development of this system has great helpful to guarantee the lunar exploration mission accomplished successfully.
