MIRA is a leading 2 1/2 year project which aims to integrate established electromagnetic modeling techniques such as TLM and FD-TD into the CAD and CAE strategies used for automotive design. The project commenced with a comprehensive survey of the user requirements for electromagnetic modeling tools, A user requirements specification document was drawn up embodying the results of this survey and was used to drive the development activities. MIRA has also been actively involved in a project which has demonstrated the application of high-performance computing on a parallel platform.
