The increasing energy effectivity of hybrid drives is the most important problem of development this types of EV propulsions. Electrochemical battery is critical part of EV drives. Decreasing battery current during acceleration and recover braking of EV has notable influence on energetic optimization of drive. The proper cooperation of battery and flywheel gives possibility battery current limitation and minimization, saving primary energy. Minimization of electrical and mechanical losses in proper adjusted drive structures should be result of optimization process. The purpose of this paper is just to present most important criteria in drive adjustment, illustrated by some simulation study examples. These problems are still considered in common with CRF-FIAT Research Center.
