A new type of a wide-frequency-band current injection probe (physical size: 348*73 phi mm, weight: 2.2 kg) which is a modified combination of TEM (transverse electromagnetic) cell and coaxial cable is proposed. By using this probe, the electromagnetic immunity testing of automotive electronic equipment can be done with ease and efficiency for both in-vehicle and on-bench tests. The on-bench immunity test correlates well with the in-vehicle test.
