Weapon accuracy is characterized by a CEP circular error of probability), the radius of a circle containing 50% of a set of impact points. It is argued that the existing technology for estimating CEPs constitutes a multitude of formulas, made to handle the spectrum of possible manifestations of the bivariate normal impact distribution. Confidence intervals for CEP estimates have existed only for a few specialized cases. To circumvent these difficulties, the author has developed an accurate, simple, yet general method for calculating CEP confidence intervals. In addition, the complexity of CEP's estimation is reduced to a single simple formula, which has improved accuracy and confidence. The author has developed a rapid series formula which integrates the bivariate normal distribution exactly.
