Suspension systems can be optimized for variable vehicle height control by equipping the front suspension with two adjustable links and the rear suspension with one adjustable link, based on multi-link suspension composed of two upper and two lower Iinks. It is shown that adverse effects on a steer property in high vehicles can be minimized by controlling suspension alignment, together with less increase in driver's burden. The complexity of the system does not allow wider incorporation into the production vehicles for the time being. The system, however, has shown potential advantages over current one. Further effort would be followed to provide more realistic specification for the production level.
