The presented method to solve, LV123 conform, discharge requirements is promising. The zero EMC emission creates the possibility to put the circuit even nearby sensitive devices or PCBs. The temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C and the AEC-QX00 qualification of all used parts and connectors provide a usage in all automotive vehicles. Due to the DIN VDE rule, the minimal size is restricted and major size reductions are not possible. But exhausting the thermal parameter of the parts could lead to a smaller size of the low side MOSFET and power resistors, which will decrease costs. The introduced method is showing a solution, which is perfectly to be implemented into limited lot productions and e-mobility prototypes. This 'plug-and-play' module is increasing the safety of high voltage inverters. For using this circuit in an industrial environment, the tests were not stressful enough. To simulate a life time tension, which the module has to withstand in an industrial environment the repetition test (explained in section II) has to be done with at least 10,000 cycles. The method, as the active discharge is implemented, is able to be scaled. For different operating voltages, the part values have to be adjusted creating the proper functionality but the complete setup and schematic stays the same.
