The paper presents comparative analysis of evaluation for power efficiency of multi-wheel drive vehicles. These criteria may be used for optimal design of automatic adaptive control system for continuously variable transmission. The transmission provides individual control of driving wheels of multi-wheel drive vehicles. The integral coefficient KN is the most suitable parameter for the power efficiency evaluation of multi-wheel drive vehicles as well at the mathematical modelling during the design phase as in connection with field test results.
