Application experience of the coal-plastics FUT and FUT-B in the plain bearings of pumps for fuel-energy complexes, particularly, oil-trunk pumps, exhaust pumps, and strata pressure maintenance pump has been generalized. Results of laboratory and development testing are presented. The advantages of the coal-plastics FUT and FUT-B use as compared with another antifriction materials have been shown. In connection with the antifriction materials selection especial attention must be payed to the plain bearing investigation at boundary friction. Based on experimental results and operational data a technological guideline has been developed for antifriction rings production and repair of modified carbon plastics FUT.
