Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy logical model can approximate multivariate nonlinear function with a small quantity of fuzzy rules, and the calculation in T-S fuzzy logical model is very simple. Furthermore the T-S model also holds well for the system lack of abundant data. Therefore the T-S fuzzy logical system is applied in many fields more and more. Its application in traffic forecasting is proposed. Besides its prediction accuracy is testified and the model is proved much better than conventional forecasting methods. According to the regional traffic system, the model perfectly states the complex non-linear relation of the traffic and the local social economy. The model also efficiently deals with the system lack of enough data.
