An experimental investigation as well as a theoretical one are presented for the determination of vehicular diffraction radiation patterns in the millimeter wavelengths. Theoretical analysis is carried out using asymptotic electromagnetic simulations employing both of the method of rays and of the uniform theory of diffraction 'UTD'. This study is carried out in the frequency band 50 GHz - 75 GHz. The results of these simulations agrees very well with measurement in the frequency band 50 GHz - 75 GHz. This asymptotic technique is based on the combination of the method of rays and of the uniform theory of diffraction. The simulation of the real vehicle geometry enables to take into account the effect of its edges which leads to more accurate results.
