PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat radiation structure for vehicular lighting capable of assuring a required heat radiation performance even if a vehicle is stopped and capable of restricting against increasing in temperature of a light source by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a heat radiation structure for vehicular lighting 1 provided with a semiconductor light-emitting element (a light source) 6 and with a heat sink (a radiator) 11 for radiating heat generated at the semiconductor light-emitting element 6. The heat radiation structure for vehicular lighting 1 is constituted in such a way that said heat sink 11 is internally installed at a heat radiation part 14B of a duct 14 including an intake part 14A opened as an intake port 14a at one end, said heat radiation part 14B extending in a vertical direction and an exhaust part 14C opened as an exhaust port 14b at one end. A heat radiation of said heat sink 11 is promoted by air flowing from said intake port 14a into said duct 14 and discharged from said exhaust port 14b to cool said semiconductor light-emitting element 6 and then heat insulation characteristics at wall surfaces of the intake part 14A, the heat radiation part 14B and the exhaust part 14C of said duct 14 are differentiated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】車両の停止時においても簡単な構成によって所要の放熱性能を確保して光源の温度上昇を抑えることができる車両用灯具の放熱構造を提供すること。【解決手段】半導体発光素子(光源)6と、該半導体発光素子6で発生する熱を放熱するヒートシンク(放熱器)11を備える車両用灯具1の放熱構造であって、一端が吸気口14aとして開口する吸気部14Aと上下方向に延びる放熱部14B及び一端が排気口14bとして開口する排気部14Cを備えるダクト14の前記放熱部14Bに前記ヒートシンク11を内設し、前記吸気口14aから前記ダクト14内に流入して前記排気口14bから排出される空気によって前記ヒートシンク11の放熱を促進して前記半導体発光素子6を冷却する車両用灯具1の放熱構造において、前記ダクト14の吸気部14Aと放熱部14B及び排気部14Cの壁面の断熱性に差を設ける。【選択図】図4
