Sensors and weapons networking at force level is in tune with the most real time level of the Network Centric Warfare concept. This type of networking has impact on: command and control system design, equipment development, and command organization. The main architectures (centralized, distributed, mixed) have their own advantages and drawbacks that can move relative to the context of the mission, the force configuration and of the available equipment list. A lot of co-operative engagement capability solutions can be considered relative to the choice of the control system functions implied in the networking process and of their level of interaction loose interaction to closely tight interactions between the force platforms. Interoperability and exchanges normalization between platforms is an obligatory appointment in the multi platform concept project in order to solve the multinational context interoperability.
