The Hydractive CRONE suspension is defined as an hybrid system undergoing autonomous switchings. Three operating modes are described: comfort mode, handling mode and safety mode. Each operating mode has its specific architecture, with a combination of isolated and/or non-isolated hydraulic cells. Different operating mode changes are generated by a switching law based on suspension deflections. First modelling and operation of Hydractive CRONE suspension are proposed. The stability study with two different tools allows to conclude on stability of Hydractive CRONE suspension when switching occurs.
