We consider three M/D/1 models with retrial calls in terms of aircraft landing. In model I, which has been analyzed by Lakatos (1994), the dwell time on the orbit is constant and a discipline service is first-in first-out type. In model II, which has been investigated by Koba (2002), an assumption about the cited discipline is violated. In model III, these assumptions are extended only to delayed aircraft. Furthermore, the dwell time on the orbit can not be less than the constant value T.
