The authors studied an inter-vehicle fusion system using a simultaneously independent beam fusion technology for an SS radar and a communication system. At the same time, obstacle sensing by radar and two-way image communications using a co-use antenna were also discussed, Some attempts to design an inter-vehicle communication have already been reported that can communicate with other vehicies to share information on distance, velocity and position of obstacles by expanding the range of a radar detection system. However, little work is currently available on such a fusion junction system that can simultaneously fuse an obstacle sensing junction with two-way image communications using an independent beam fusion technology. More efficient approach is discussed, and they test the fusion system to verify that the two junctions can work simultaneously with a single co-use antenna.
