The results of single pressure vessel high voltage Nickel-Hydrogen Battery (NHB) development are presented. The battery is a stack of electrically series connected storage cells (SC). Each SC has its separate electrolyte. To achieve the required capacity, the electrodes inside the SC are connected electrically in parallel. The stack of storage cells is enclosed in a solid housing furnished with hermetically sealed busbar terminals, hydrogen pressure and temperature control sensors. At present two versions of these batteries with 83 mm and 200 mm storage cell diameter have been developed. The results of prolonged life tests of batteries with different number of series connected storage cells are given. The battery useful life obtained when testing is ten years if cycling on the geostationary orbit.
