A report on the procedure of development and advantages of the titanium investment castings was presented. The developments in the field of vacuum arc remelting (VAR), induction-skull remelting (ISR), hot isostatic pressing (HIPing) and data regarding the reactivity of titanium alloys helped in improving the quality of titanium investment castings. Data regarding the mechanical properties and dynamic properties of the titanium investment castings was also presented.
