A literature survey was made to determine what materials could be used to cement a thermocouple to stainless steel tubing used in the nozzle of a nuclear rocket engine. Environments included temperature and pressure excursions ranging from -424 degree f to 2000 degree f, and pressure differentials up to 750 psi.
