The differential gas path method of analysis is used to predict the performance changes of a single shaft turbojet having a damaged compressor casing. The class of damage considered is a series of small holes in the compressor casing so that the leakage flow is equivalent to an increase in compressor bleed. The results indicate how fuel consumption changes with altitude for various throttle settings in an aircraft.
