Discusses a fully automatic group supervisory system elevator control, Command 6000, developed through adopting a thyristor control system for power saving purposes by electronics utilization, as well as a microcomputer for servicing function enforcement, as a main subject. DC operated elevators can achieve power saving by an approximately 35% factor through thyristor-Leonard system gearless elevator adoption. An automatic announcement unit, realized by speech synthesis technology application, is introduced.
