A highly 'intelligent', microcomputer-controlled undersea robot vehicle has eyes, ears and arms that give great flexibility in many applications. The key to the design is a pair of identical PACE microcomputers. One is in the undersea vehicle, and the other on the surface mother ship. Virtually all communications, display and control functions are managed by the microcomputers.
