Real-time aircraft scattering simulation is essential to a variety of newly-evolved computer-age applications such as airframe design, target identification and imaging, and simulations for testing seekers and radars, etc. Often this is done on a minicomputer which does not have the speed, memory and precision required in computing the complex electromagnetic scattering problem involving an aircraft. In this paper, practical techniques for application on a minicomputer, such as the HP1000, are presented.
