The performance of a lead-glass spectrometer system with high resolution and superior hadron rejection is described. We present results on calibration, energy resolution und stability. The use of the system in triggering and in the analysis of an experiment measuring electrons in the energy range 15 to 100 GeV at Fermilab are also described.
