The reliability design of spacecraft antenna runs through the whole process of antenna development. Reliability design includes reliability prediction, resistant-to-mechanical-environment design, thermal design, EMC design, space environment protection design, redundancy and derating design. Structure, mechanical analysis and design, thermal deformation analysis and thermal design, venting hole design, multipaction protection design, passive inter-modulation protection design for spaceborne antennas are provided in this chapter.
