This paper examines some objective and subjective reasons for the occurrence of crisis situations that are typical for Russian companies. A quantitative analysis of the bankruptcy trends of these companies by general, industry and subject characteristics in the period from 2016 to 2020 is presented. At the same time, the research was based on systematic and situational approaches, which reflected general scientific and logical methods of cognition. It is pointed out that there is a lack of consensus in the scientific community, a clear under-standing of various aspects that reflect the essence and typology of anti-crisis strategies, their rational sequence of development and implementation in the dynamically changing environment of the functioning of modern organizations. The negative factors of anti-crisis management inherent in Russian business organizations are revealed. It is noted that a significant drawback of many Russian enterprises recovery from the crisis situation is the lack of a strategic approach to crisis management, in which an important role should be given to the formation of an effective anti-crisis strategy. A comprehensive approach to the effective solution of problems in crisis situations is proposed, which provides for the timely implementation of measures not only of a tactical, but also of a strategic nature. Thus, it is concluded that the anti-crisis strategy of the company should include both strategic and tactical aspects. The author’s view on the essence, role, typology and characteristics of some anti-crisis strategies is presented.
