As the integration of robots into human life continues to expand, the significance of understanding the dynamics and relationships between the human and robot agents is increasingly important. Human trust in robots is one of the key elements for maintaining good human-robot interactions (HRI). This scoping review investigates the factors that influence trust in HRI, and how they are evaluated. By mapping the diverse range of factors influencing trust in HRI, we aim to contribute to the understanding of the design and development of interactive robots. Indeed the results show that several studies demonstrated a significant impact on trust by adapting both the technical and social components of the robots used. The results are limited by the difficulty to have uniformed trust definition and evaluation across studies.
