Abstract This latest Futuraspace survey provides an independent, global and long-term look into the future of human spaceflight activities. Rather than making predictions, the emphasis is on identifying expected trends based on the collective vision of space experts. The responses from this very experienced and highly-educated group of individuals provide insight into possible future developments. These developments the first human mission to Mars, a return mission to the Moon, new countries achieving endogenous human spaceflight capability, and emerging scientific and commercial rationales for human spaceflight.
