Jakarta, as a metropolitan city, must be able to provide public open spaces for its 10.64 million residents. In order to provide that, the Government faces the challenge of providing adequate public open spaces due to the limited availability of land that can be used as public open spaces. An example of public open space in Jakarta is Lapangan Banteng Park. Lapangan Banteng Park is equipped with green open spaces, sports fields, playgrounds, museums, and pedestrian pathways both within and around the park area. This study aims to analyze the existing lanes and pedestrian accessibility within Taman Lapangan Banteng. Data collection for this research used the Global Navigation Satellite System Postprocessing Kinematic (GNSS PPK) receiver. Additionally, brief `interviews among the pedestrians were conducted. The results indicate that the pedestrian lanes within Lapangan Banteng Park are easily accessible with public and private transportations. Pedestrian lane accessibility of Lapangan Banteng Park is shown from the speed range of pedestrians 0 to 1.83 m/s. It means, the speed of range is considered slow but still meets the minimum standards. This is evident from the ease of access, availability of pedestrian attributes, comfort, and the presence of obstacles along the pedestrian lanes. Thus, it can elevate the function of the Lapangan Banteng Park as a public open space.
