In this paper, we study the active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) of an independent heat dissipation system for engineering vehicles. We assume that the system suffers from a constant input additive fault. Compared with the traditional cooling system, the controller is able to regulate the fan speed in a step-less manner. Moreover, the fan speed is no longer associated with the engine speed, which enables that when the engine runs at a low speed, the cooling system can also has a high cooling capacity. The efficiency of ADRC applied to independent cooling system is verified by AMESim and Simulink co-simulation.
