This paper is devoted to the automated solution of the problem of layout of the aircraft onboard equipment electronic unit. The substantive and mathematical formulations of the unit layout problem are presented, taking into account the electromagnetic compatibility criterion. The genetic algorithm for solving the multi-criteria problem of unit layout is developed. A practical example of problem solution is given.
