The article presents the calculations for comparison and the choice of the most effective route in the organization of international transport. The southern and northern routes on the railways of the Republic of Kazakhstan are presented when cotton is transported in 20-foot containers from China to the station of the same name and the port of Bandar-Abbas of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
