With the rapid development of the vision-based measurement, the demand for the global vibration measurement becomes increasingly urgent. This paper proposes a novel full-field vibration intensity analysis approach on the basis of the phase-based motion extraction method for the integral structural vibration measurement. First, local vibration signals can be extracted by the phase-based method. Then a global vibration matrix can be built by the preprocessed local vibration signals. Finally, full-field vibration intensity chromatograms can be obtained according to the vibration matrix through normalization and visualization. Additionally, a series of controlled experiments was conducted on a maglev motor. To verify the accuracy, vibration is measured by high-speed cameras and accelerometers. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach is feasible to reflect the global structural vibration and suitable for the further global measurement application.
