In this chapter, we provide an in-depth study of UAVs applications in the healthcare sector, communication protocols, UAVs deployment techniques, UAVs security, emerging challenges, and recent research trends. In many countries, UAVs are playing a significant role in blood and medical equipment’s transportations, plants, and livestock health monitoring. To provide stable control and communication links, various protocols and standards are being developed by experts in industry and academia. To maximize network coverage and UAVs security, efficient UAVs deployment strategies, security challenges, solutions, and future research trends are explored.
