With the increasing scale of power grid and the increasingly high reliability and security requirements of users, energy storage plays an increasingly important role in microgrid. Under the background of national energy saving and emission reduction and vigorously promoting the development of new energy sources, photovoltaic–energy storage combined microgrid has become a research hotspot because it can use the characteristics of energy storage to overcome the impact of photovoltaic grid connected. In this paper, three key technologies of energy storage in optical storage microgrid are studied. They are smooth control of output power, simplified load shifting control, and power supply control when the off-grid operation is realized by utilizing the charging and discharging characteristics of the energy storage system. And their feasibility is verified by simulations and experiments.
