Zusammenfassung In this paper a method to evaluate the technical feasibility of battery-electric urban bus systems is presented. Special focus is put on the dimensioning of the required energy storage and the corresponding charging infrastructure. A detailed battery model with respect to realistic load conditions is set up and a battery performance simulation is performed.
