The use of more advanced pulse motor can improve missile energy management, maintain higher energy and speed to provide greater mobility, which is of great significance for missile operational effectiveness. In this paper, the midcourse guidance law of pulse motor is studied. The problem is modeled as an optimal control problem under multi-segment and multi-constraint conditions. Radau pseudo-spectral method is used to solve the optimal trajectories and control schemes. As the numerical method of optimal control cannot be applied in real time, a neural network guidance law is studied. From the optimal trajectories obtained by optimization method, the mapping relationship between the system state variables and the control variables is fitted, This solution method results in a simple way to implement closed-loop guidance law. The neural network was compared with g-bias proportional guidance and trajectory shaping guidance law.
