East Kalimantan Province is a province on Kalimantan Island which is the second largest province after Papua in Indonesia with an area of 127,267.52 km2. The establishment of IKN Nusantara in East Kalimantan Province has had an impact on improving the facilities and infrastructure built, especially road facilities and infrastructure. Existing road conditions, especially the National Road which connects 5 Provinces in Kalimantan to IKN Nusantara, experience many problems including accessibility, road stability, land conditions that have low carrying capacity and protected forest problems are problems that must be overcome. The results of the analysis carried out on the condition of national roads for 4 travel routes in general in terms of accessibility and connectivity of the national road network to IKN Nusantara in terms of safety, comfort, cost and travel time generally show high (good) accessibility. The level of road service on all Trans Kalimantan routes (4 routes) shows fairly stable flow performance. The travel speed is relatively low when compared with the design speed as a function of the primary artery, namely 54.60 km/hour < 60 km/hour. Analysis of road pavement conditions shows a good value with a PCI value of 77.50. The highest vehicle operating costs (BOK) are on route 2 with the BOK required to traverse a route with a length of 1,772.2 km is IDR. 6,527,243.00 (IDR. 3,683.13/km) and the smallest BOK is route 4 with a value of IDR. 2,835,981.00 for a route length of 801.9 km (IDR. 3,536.57/Km). Analysis of the time value on route 1 (IDR. 1,258,256.00) is almost 50% lower than the time value on route 2 (IDR. 2,454,392.00) with a distance difference of 73.8 km. The highest travel cost analysis is on route 2 with a travel cost of IDR. 8,981,635.00 and the lowest travel cost is on route 3, namely IDR. 4,612,315.00. It is necessary to update traffic data and pavement conditions every year as a continuous and ongoing data base monitoring of road conditions.
