At present, studies have pointed out that the effective length of the arrival and departure tracks in the completed stations in China is too large for the short-grouping trains, and proposed expanded arrival and departure tracks to realize the operation mode of stopping two short-grouping trains at the same time. In this paper, the optimization model of high-speed railway stations’ arrival and departure tracks under the expanded tracks is constructed. The objective function is to minimize the number of arrival and departure tracks used for receiving and dispatching a certain number of trains. And then use the Gurobi solver to solve the problem. The results show that compared with the track utilization plan under the normal track, the plan under the expanded track occupies less number of tracks, and the utilization rate of tracks increases from 24.01% to 41.51%. Therefore, the model proposed in this paper can significantly optimize the track utilization plans of stations to improve the passing capacity of the station, and provide support for the preparation of track utilization plans of the high-speed railway stations after expansion and reconstruction in the future.
