In this study, we first examine control methods to suppress the effects of disturbance on the work efficiency of a weeding robot with an automatic operation function, because disturbances caused by wind disturbance, rice growth, and uneven water depth in the environment where the paddy field weeding robot works affect the work efficiency of the robot. Next, a method for evaluating work performance is examined with the aim of constructing a work support system to support work in actual weeding operations. Specifically, we design a disturbance observer to suppress disturbance using a mathematical model of a paddy field weeding robot, and confirm its effectiveness through simulation. Next, a method to evaluate the work performance will be discussed. The work performance evaluation is performed by introducing an evaluation function.
