Re-entry phase trajectory optimization is a well-discussed topic for hypersonic vehicles, especially the multi- hypersonic vehicles cooperative trajectory optimization, which is more innovative and challenging. In order to satisfy the performance of re-entry phase cooperative trajectory for hypersonic reentry vehicle (HRV), a cooperative trajectory optimization scheme in re-entry phase on the base of Radau pseudospectral method (RPM) is designed. The RPM comprehensively considered dynamic pressure constraint, heating rate constraint, dynamic constraint and collision avoidance constraint. In addition, a time-based collaborative trajectory strategy is proposed for synchronous arrival. The numerical simulation results indicated that the submitted RPM-based cooperative optimization methods are effective and accurate to guarantee the multi-HRVs assembled the terminal position simultaneously without violating the constraints.
