With the continuous acceleration of urbanization in China, the demand for urban rail transit (URT) is gradually increasing. However, the operation of URT may also cause large-scale interruptions or delays in driving and affect passengers’ safety. At this time, a traffic dispatcher is required which should make command measures promptly. This article starts from the analysis of the factors that affect the traffic dispatching staff, and analyzes the causal relationship between the influencing factors and the status of each factor in the system through the fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory-interpretative structural modeling (DEMATEL-ISM) method, and draws hierarchical structure diagram to obtain the hierarchical diagram. According to the relation degree, prominence degree, influence degree, and affected degree, we identify the important influencing factors of the URT dispatching profession. Through the study of key factors, it is extremely important and significant to strengthen the research on the rationalization and standardization of URT dispatching.
