The article deals with the tasks associated with the control and diagnostics of microprocessor devices in data transmission systems. The stages of the life cycle of technical means of data transmission systems and the ways of increasing their reliability characteristics are covered. The analysis of modern microprocessor devices of data transmission systems as an object of control and diagnostics necessary for the selection of characteristics of methods of signature analysis is considered. Methods for calculating and determining signatures for signature analysis in diagnostics of microprocessor devices are considered. It is shown that the main document of signature analysis is the dictionary of reference signatures. The algorithms and programs for modeling one and multichannel signature method have been developed to automate the determination of reference signatures for multi-output microprocessor devices.
