This paper builds an electromechanical coupling model of a high-speed train traction drive system based on the joint Simpack and Matlab/Simulink simulation platform, and investigates the influence of the direct torque control strategy in the constant torque zone on the traction performance and the stability of a body-suspended train under direct torque control. In the electrical part, this paper explores the characteristics and influencing factors of the improved direct torque control strategy, and analyses the dynamic characteristics and torque output characteristics of the motor. In the mechanical part, this paper investigates the influence of the system electromechanical coupling modelling on the vehicle vibration characteristics under traction acceleration conditions in the constant torque zone of high-speed trains. Through simulation analysis, the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy in improving train traction performance and train stability is verified.
